CMO and Gram Sachiv will responsible for cattle on the road

BALODABAZAR: 100% compliance of Roka Chheka is mandatory in all Gram Panchayats and Nagar Panchayat. If cattle are found sitting on the road, then concerned gram panchayat secretary will be responsible.

Every year in the rainy season, the residents of the district have to face the problem of 52 stray cattle sitting on the main roads. Due to this, on the one hand, where the traffic is greatly affected, on the other hand, cattle also die due to speeding vehicles. Orders have been given to all Chief Executive Officers, District Panchayats and CMOs to ensure 100% implementation of the Roka Chheka campaign in all Gram Panchayats. Along with this, District Panchayat CEO Namrata Jain has given instructions to take action against the Panchayat Secretary if it fails. CEO said that such Gram Panchayats which are near the main road and cattle gathering is found, then strict action will be taken against such Gram Panchayat Secretary as per the Panchayat Civil Service Conduct Rules. Along with this, all the District Panchayat CEOs have been instructed to go to the field and inspect.
